Good old Fox News to come up with the idea terrorists are responsible for the fires in California. Seems to me this yearly event that occurs in this area of the state. Guess the terrorists have been doing for number of years. I am waiting for Pat Robertson and James Dobson to blame the fires as part of the gay agenda.

Believe me, I am from one of the dryest states on one of the dryest continents in the world.
We have had so many devastating bushfires (or wildfires as you call them)
to know that it doesn't take a terrorist to start a fire.
It just takes some low life sicko or some careless person with a cigarette thrown out of a car window to start these fires!
I suppose you could name someone who lights a fire a 'terrorist'
but the terrorists that you're thinking of are probably nothing to do with these.
I wish everybody over there good luck and safety, I do know what bushfires are like, I am from Adelaide and we have experienced many tragedies similar to what is going on now.
It is just coming into our summer soon and our bushfire season will be on us much too quickly.

You Americans get more and more paranoid as time goes on. The fires could be caused by a number of different things. I was listening to the news this morning and they were saying it could have been anything from a cigarette butt thrown out a car window to a fallen power line. And the reason it is so out of control is mainly due to pine needles laying on the ground. Why would a terrorist plan a "disaster" that he/she can't control once it is in motion? And with fire, it's obviously that it is there, and as you already know, many many people can be evacuated.
I do not think that a terrorist's goal is to destroy property, but rather people.
Not everything that happens in or to America is terrorism.

I can't wait until the "terrorists started the California fires" to hold a mass meeting with the "Feds blew up the World Trade Center" crowd. I'll pay a huge fee to run the booth which will be selling tin-foil hats!

Terrorist are a little more direct then setting wild fires. Just look at history and what they attack, places that are very publicly used. California has wild fires every year, this one is just gotten allot worst this time.

Noodle........
Get a grip girlfriend!
Southern California has been in a drought for years. Add the Santa Ana winds and fires is what we get. Sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph and gusts of over 100mph downed power lines and started the fires in Malibu and Norther LA County. A car fire started another in LA County. The fire in Orange county was started by an arsonist, as there are 3 points of origin for that fire. An arsonist starts fires for sexual gratification or for the feeling of power.
You folks need to stop looking for the boogie man and have a reality check.............

There's always a possibility, but honestly I think they'd do something smarter to weaken the humans, not their property. Wildfires usually cause more damage to property than it causes physical harm to humans.
