I think you'd be surprised if you start taking notice to the patterns. For example-- I know this will probably offend some, but notice how the girls who choose the oversized eyes for their avatars tend to ask the most illogical and/or superficial questions? Check it out (over time) if you don't believe me.
I recently asked this question. The only ones who disagreed with me the girls with the giant bug eyes-- of course. I later added that these are the ones who have the subject lines like: "HELP!!!!! 911! EMERGENCY! HELP ME ASAP!!!!!". Then you go in the post to find: "My kitty coughed up a blue fur ball today! What do I do???"
Doubt me? Do an advanced search for "HELP ME ASAP" and see how many giant eyeballs gaze back at you from the answers.

You´re probably right about that. Not only that but its incredible how many stupid questions like: "My kitty coughed up a blue fur ball today! What do I do???" those questions are often asked and a lot of people respond to them, they get like a whopping 50 answers from the users. But then if someone asks a really deep and interesting question people here dont respond, they mostly respond to stupidities instead of taking the time to answer smart and challenging questions...if u notice my eyes are not oversized at all...

Somehow I've missed out on the oversized eyes but I'll keep it in mind. I think the really hilarious avatars and names must be created by someone really witty.

The first three had squinty eyes, but the fourth had giant bug eyes. All girls.
You might be right, but eh...I don't think so.
I tend to think that if they have a real picture instead of an avatar, they are more serious.

I don't think that holds true for every avatar out there. Some people just choose avatars based on their likes, doesn't have anything to do with logic. I'll be on the loo out though.

Mine looks as close to me as I could get it, but there are so many of us out there!
I assume others are at least the gender they are posting with, but I have been fooled before. Just proved to me that I cannot judge an avatar at all.

the avatar a person chooses can really tell a lot about them..
or the ones who use provocative avatars also tend to ask the really flirty questions..
