Memorize the speech until you can recite it in your sleep.Then rehearse it in front of a kind audience like a close group of friends or family members that won't laugh at you. The more you do it, the more confidence you will gain doing it. Good luck!

make a power point or a visual aid so the lights are off and the audience is looking at that and not you. Then you can look at the audience with out being frightened.

I'd take a deep breath in and out or, tell them you're nervous that might loosen you up and people may not critisze u as much.
