OK, going old school here. I was recently reminded of the 1994 travesty of Nebraska getting voted national champ over PSU. Does anyone out there really think that was legit? I think that year was a driving force to get a 1 vs 2 game into the system.

I agree. That PSU team was one of the best ever. Kerry Collins is still playing, and the entire offense started in the NFL at one time or another, and we know how JoePA coaches the D. Nebraska was a great team, and I would have loved to see that match up, and pretty sure that is now why we have a BCS.

While Penn State was no doubt one of the great college teams, so was 94 Nebraska. Notice how Nebraska was undefeated. N and Penn should have played for the national championship.

Hell no. those nebraska teams of the mid- 90's were probably the best college teams ever. they would have murdered slow-footed penn state.

Nebraska would have beaten Penn St that year.
