Ha I was in your shoes a good couple months ago. I had a couple negatives, then 2 positives that were SO FAINT and showed up so late I was like they have to be false.... Waited a week, tried a different name brand, got two more positives but they were still faint. So I was VERY skeptical b/c we were TTC. AND well here I am 23 weeks 4 days pregnant!
Goodluck sweetie!!!!!!!

Home pregnancy tests aren't exact. The concentration of the hormone in your urine can make a difference. More often than not though my friends have experienced false negatives. Either way, keep your chin up and treat your body well because even if this isn't the right time, it never hurts to stay on your toes! Good Luck.

YES..you can get false positives. NO..it is not common but it does happen. I've had three. Everytime I got a positive I had to go in for blood work to confirm. Since you want this badly I will be crossing my fingers for you.
I get a kick out of how ppl can say "there is not such thing as false positives"...How can those ppl answer something that they've never experienced? BTW...for those ppl... one of my false positive urine test was done in the doctor's office!

I had a false positive. I was devastated when the doctor confirmed I was never pregnant and had started my period and did not have a miscarriage. Be patient but I sure hope you are pregnant. I'm now 14 weeks pregnant (we conceived about 10 days after that incident). Good luck!

it is almost never wrong, so you are probably preggers, but why not take another test. Just do it in the morning first thing, so you have the best results.
