Vanessa has always been around on Broadway & movies, maybe just not in anything YOU would watch or go see. . . . her comeback was in 1986 when she came out w/ her album "The right stuff" (which I still have in my possession), after her scandal for appearing in Penthouse before becoming Miss America. But she has steadily been in the public eye, but like I said it may not have been anything that you would watch.
