Cup size D.... I just find that a lot of bras, even if they come in my size, aren't necessarily made for my size, if you know what I mean.

I'm a 40C and love Fruit of the Loom's Awesome T-shirt bra. Only place I can find it is Wal-Mart. Holds 'em up, doesn't have an underwire, and they're super cheap. They come in a range of sizes.
For you, honestly, you can probably go the Victoria's Secret route. They don't carry anything bigger than a 38D in the stores (not a problem with the new skinny you), but they do make comfortable bras in a wide variety of styles and their service is excellent. They're a bit pricey, but I found them worth it when I could shop in the store (don't know about you, but I'm not mail ordering bras).
Some addendums to other comments: Getting measured works quite well--if the clerk knows what they're doing. Also, watch out in department stores--in my experience, the lingerie department is always run by the meanest little old ladies in existence. (I actually had one tell me that my size--which I was wearing--didn't exist and that I "looked full figured", in spite of the fact that my size comes from my height, not my girth.)

When I was prego I got up to a size F!! The only place that has good supportive breastfeeding bras that I found was the store "Motherhood" I don't know if you have one near you, you might have to look it up online. First time buyers get some cool stuff and they send you good deals through the mail. Hope this helps!!

What is your cup size? With a 34 inch band, you should be able to go to any department store and purchase a bra as long as the cup is no bigger than a DD.

from VS try the ipex full covereage body by victoria bra.
also try from regular department store brands like Natori, Donna Karan, Le Mystere, Chantelle, WAcoal, Felina. I prefer these brands to VS if I had my choice.
Also, be sure to get yourself remeasured. If you go to a department store like nordstroms to get fitted, they will help you find the right bra. YOu may not be the same size in different brands.

My big-chested friend and her big-chested daughter swear by Victoria's Secret. They get personally measured and fitted and appreciate the service.
