To me. If they ran away from me, then I probably wouldn't consider them friends...

Why of course they run to me! Generally I am running towards them as well. Life is about relationships.

To me, most of the time. At least, the ones back in Washington still trust me. In my new(ish) school, everybody's sort of anti-religion (I'm a Christian, though I don't know how many people know; they mostly avoid people not in their little cliques) and anti-weirdo (meaning that if someone doesn't do what they do, they don't associate with them; I just happen to not do most of what other teens at that school do - it just isn't "me", if you know what I mean; I'm not exactly a party person), but there are a few people who tell me things. It's kinda weird, though. There are a whole bunch of different people here. One girl in one class has completely opposite views from me on a certain subject, and she talks to me, but she doesn't "talk" to me, if you know what I mean. At the same time, there's another girl in that class whose views on lots of things are pretty much the opposite of mine, and she "talks" to me.

LOL,how cute. I would say both. There is a good saying though. You do not have to change friends if you understand that your friends change.
