Caesars Palace is better IMO. Great shopping, food, large casino, in the middle of all the action, great pool areas and the rooms are very comfortable. To sum it all up, it's a Vegas staple and worth the money.

IMO: Caesars Palace is the best "overall" resort in all of Las Vegas, but if you're talking about one of their "classic" rooms then stay at Paris

If the price is the same and you can stay in either the Palace or Augustus tower at Caesars then stay at Caesars - I prefer the Palace Tower Deluxe rooms that overlook the Venus Pool area.

The "Fountain View" rooms at Paris are really nice also.

Have you checked the room rates at the Venetian - if the room is your main criteria - the Venetian is the best and they often times have a specail promotion running

Personally neither.. But if your only choice was the 2 I would choose Paris. It has newer rooms, and good clubs. But if you have a choice of the whole strip, decide what your going for; to party, rest or romance. That will help you decide where to stay. If you are partying, stay mid strip, the Mirage, Flamingo, TI all have good clubs and pools. Rest, stay away ffrom the big crowds or where there is a convention of some sort. For roamance the Bellagio or Mandalay Bay.

I've stayed at both, and Paris felt like the rooms where smaller than at Caesar's. I like Caesar's better, but if I had my choice I wouldn't stay at either. I love the MGM and Belagio.
