I wouldn't go so far as to say jazz, after all their biggest hit was picked as "Unchained Melody" which is distinctly unjazzy. given the time i'm sure it was called pop, these days they'd be considered golden oldies. if anything they were closer to soul than jazz. for more info check the link below

They actually were classified as "Blue-eyed Soul" because their singing style suggested they were black artists when in fact, they weren't.
