You can drink 1 glass of red wine a day while pregnant. Some doctors think that this is beneficial because it helps with blood flow. Other doctors say no alcohol what-so-ever. My dr said as long as you do not wake up with a drink in your hand and drink until you go to sleep that night, alcohol doesn't really effect the baby. The reason I say this is because I celebrated my 21st birthday before I knew I was pregnant with my second child, and I was very worried about the amount of alcohol I drank and how it would effect her. She was perfectly healthy at birth(weighed 8 lbs 6 oz) and only has some allergy problems since then, never really been sick. As long as what you are drinking is red wine and you only have an occasional glass you and your baby will be perfectly fine.

Wasn't me! I swear, I didn't drink it! I just threw it at the neighbors last night to shut them up. So no one actually "drank" it, they just were drenched in it.
