Use proportions. 3/$10 equals 2/x. Write it up and down and solve for x to find a price for only two shirts. The answer is C.

If you divide 10 by 3, you get 3.333333... That would equal one shirt. Since she's buying two, then you multiply it by two, which is about 6.6667. Therefore, the answer is C, between $6 and $8.

3 for $10
then 1 would be $10/3 which is around $3.3

and 2 would cost $3.3 x 2 =6.6
so it's C around 6 to 8 bucks

C) between $6 and 8

10 for 3 t-shirts is 3.333 a t-shirt.
2 t-shirts should thus be $6.67 for 2.

Although from a business standpoint, this can have a variety of answers, mathematically speaking C) I think is correct. :-)

It is C.

Three for 10 dollars will be a reduction from 2 for 7 dollars. The company wants to benefit from selling MORE shirts, so they will reduce their cost as you buy more.
