I know there are many religions throughout this world, but in every single one I've EVER heard of killing is a sin. Yes?
So here's my question to you, all of you who say you wish the "Homos/fags/queers/gays/etc. would just die!" What if your words actually did make someone commit suicide?
Isn't that technically murder? Aren't you supposed to reserve all judgements for your respective Gods? Don't you think they'll be just a little miffed that you took it upon yourself to do something that is specifically outlined as a "No."? I'm just curious, one of those things I've always wondered about and want to know why even though your God says murder is wrong, you still do and say things that could have someone killed. I myself have never wished any straight people dead just because of their sexual orientation. (I love my parents.) So why is it... that those of us who are most discriminated against, are the easiest to accept anyone with a different lifestyle?
...I pity you..

And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying all religious people are homophobic.
One of my favorite posters on Yahoo Answers is a Christian Lesbian.
So ha.

Dear Me.
I'll continue doing exactly what I've always done. Love everyone I possibly can, and reserve judgement for those who are meant to be the Judge.
Have a nice day.

Dear χριστοφερως.
I do understand what you're saying, and I suppose I should have been a bit more specific. I'm not asking them as a group. I am asking the individual. Like... "Johnny, if anything you said made someone kill themselves..." Not "Group Homophobe, if anything you said made someone kill themselves..."
But thank you for the input and your views, they're very good points.

Yes. You are correct. Suicide is not considered murder because the victim and the offender are one in the same, HOWEVER, If presented with proof, you can still be charged it assisted suicide.
I'll give everyone 2 guesses as to which side of the argument THIS poster is on.

I agree with you.
Ever read "Prayers For Bobby"? It's a true story of a fundie who drove her gay son to suicide. In the end, she got rid of her hateful religion and became a gay rights activist.
It also mentioned a govt study on teen suicide that found that 1/3 of teen suicides in the US are gays who can't handle the stress of being hated.
Hate kills, no doubt about it. To hate the variety in which God makes people is to hate God.

I'm not a homophobe, but I think a lot of people like
that are afraid of people they don't understand. Don't
get me wrong, I think there is definitely evil when someone
wants to hurt another human being that hasn't done or tried
to do them harm. The fundamental teachings of the bible
denounces homosexuality and fornication. It basically
denounces any type of sexual behaviour besides a married
male and female. True this doesn't give them the right
to pass judgment or attack another person, but the lifestyle
of homosexuality it in opposition with Judeo-Christian, Islamic
and most other mainstream religious beliefs. Homosexuals
and any other person transgendered or whatever have the
right to seek god and religion just like anyone else. God
will be the judge of us all at the end!

Homophobes do not care about anyone except themselves by wanting to impose their views on everyone else and excuse themselves from any repercussions by telling themselves that they are doing the "right thing", when you ask it the words of homophobes actually did make someone commit suicide... their words already have... homophobes should realize the results of their actions...

by way of fact adult males are meant to be the greater beneficial, greater dominant style. the people who've a topic with our gayness (i in my view love that be conscious) pick us to be performing like females, or only in certainty being female normally. i comprehend some gay adult males that are much greater butch than any str8 guy i've got ever met.

I agree and the homophobes that are out there are using the bible as a shield to hide behind and claiming its their religious freedom to attack gay people.

you make a good point, and I'd love to hear a legitimate answer. and, by that I mean no references to the usual lies and stereotypes, and no citing of Bible verse out of context that allegedly "prove" their irrational hatred.
