Are you in the US?
In the US, the usual process is to get a JD after getting a bachelor's degree. The JD takes three years.
After getting a JD, you could get a further degree -- like an LLM (master's in laws and letters). This is usually a specialty degree -- like in Taxation or in International law. It takes an additional year. Only about half of the law schools in the US offer an LLM.

In Australia it takes from 1 to 1.5 years to get a Master in Laws after a Bachelor Degree

I have never really hear of a Masters in Law.
Undegradaute Pre Law college is LLB
After that I've just heard of JD and LLD
There's very little can you can, on a pracitcal basis, with a Masters.

im studying to be a lawyer and a masters in law is the hardest one to get because the thesis is so heavy(70 page minimum=d-) it take at least 5 1/2 year if you do perfect in everything and write a decently quick thesis.

I think you have to go to three years of law school after undergrad school.
