I use to clean a house for a lady that listened to it every morning, haven't heard any NPR for 4 months. I like it, it presents alot of neat ideas and tells the truth about what is going on in the world. It's a no-hype radio station. I always forget about it now that I don't clean that lady's house anymore.

yes for news on way home from work can't stand all the i love bush propaganda that passes for news on rest of dial. Not old though thats Npr demographic

I listen to it when I have my kids in the car. If they are going to shove their music down my throat then I have to retaliate in a mature way. NPR is my way.

I listen on Saturday morning: "Car Talk", "Wait Wait Dont Tell Me" and "American Life" and Sunday night old radio shows.....
The weekday shows are truly depressing negatives
