I personally find it pathetic that he and the democratic party are playing politics, but what's even worse is the simple fact the he DENIED even saying such a thing..... BUT guess what it was CAUGHT on TAPE!
There are hundreds and hundreds of people who are hurting right now and all the dem's can do is try to boost their own agenda....
This is a national tragedy and we need to stand and help our fellow americans and NOT PLAY POLITICS!!!!

SAGACIOUS--- what I actually heard is REALITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was NO SPIN OR LAP DANCE.... I heard what Reid said..... and he stated it was b/c of global warming!!!! but when a(n) reporter questioned him he back tracked........ FACE REALITY!!!!! TRUTH HURTS!!!!!!!!!!! Oh I forgot the dem's DON'T KNOW what the TRUTH IS!!!!! you see here....when something is actually TAPED(by more than one individual) who is also on the dem's side it's hard to disagree.......

I am sooo glad so many on here and around the country see through the Harry Reid's in power and more importantly speaking up! You know whats tragic in all of this? That he and is "buddies" are convincing some in this country to actually follow and vote for this "destructive to our country" way of thinking. They are so full of themselves and power hungry nothing else matters but their quest to gain control of the U.S. And if they do it will change into a 3rd world country or worse. But I say let him keep doing what he's doing the majority of us just arn't that stupid to let them gain complete control...or are we?? Guess we will see after the up coming elections.

The way I understand it is that Reid said that global warming was ONE reason. I take that to mean a contributing factor. It seems that the reporter interpreted it differently asking Reid if he said global warming was THE reason, which is not what Reid had said. As for global warming being a contributing factor... well duh! The modeling for that region did indicate increased temperatures and a decrease in rainfall. As for global warming being the reason, as in the only reason... No, that's an erroneous statement.
Personally, I find it pathetic when people would rather spin, or lap up whatever their 'spin masters' tell them, instead of listening, reading and THINKING for themselves. Think about that, sister!

Playing politics is the national sport. In my town we have six right wing talk shows almost back to back and they all seem to think the most important thing in the world is Reid, Clinton, Obama, Perlosi, Jesse Jackson, Ted Kennedy, Rosie O'Donald, Sean Penn, Dick Durban and a first round draft choice yet to be named. Basically they spend hundreds of man hours lambasting these folks for everything from their names...'Hillary Rotten Clinton', 'Turban Durban' and other pet names, to everything these people ever said since the third grade. These folks get accused of being 'commies', crazy, leftists, 'liberals', surrender monkeys, tax raisers, baby killers, gay lovers and that's the nice things these talk show bozos say! The 'issues' are never really discussed seriously....only that the concept Universal HEALTH INSURANCE is 'socialism'....climate change isn't happening...the war is going wonderful well and the only people worth voting for are reactionary Jesus freaks. The pity here is that millions of people trust these guys....you'd think that they would take that into consideration....taking advantage of people via propaganda has got to be some kind of immoral act. If politics for the reactionary right is nothing more than a fleet of swift-boats then they deserve to be voted out of office. This country can't continue this way, if it does.....I don't even want to think about it!

The Democrats use any crisis and catastrophe to blame the Republicans and take more power.
Harry's comment was a typical knee-jerk response to another tragedy, even though he has no proof that global warming caused the fires. There have been fires in California for thousands of years, so what? There are more people who are affected by them now.
The proper thing to do is how to mitigate the problem, come up with a solution, and not to raise taxes and create more government agencies to take away our freedom.

It would be nice if people were more interested in finding solutions to problems rather than finding problems in everything. So far all I see on tv is people trying to find someone to complain about something. Thats the American spirit! Keep your head down and whine and complain for the rest of your life until someone gets tired of hearing it and does everything for you! LOL Gimme a break. Reid is a fool trying to promote an agenda. the more he speaks the worse it gets. Since He and Pelosi have been put in charge and in front of the cameras, the approval ratings of Congress have Plummeted. They are at an all time low yet again, something like 11%.

Was it something about it being caused or a symptom of the planet warming from man made emissions of gas. In that case you're responsible for a lot of the political "gas". If you knew what you're talking about instead of being a ditto head, there could be a reasonable conversation with you monkeys.
