...oh, yeah!!! The best, and the campiest of the lot, as far as the old-school Godzilla films, was definitely 1965's "Invasion of Astro-Monster", which was released here in the States, under the moniker, "Monster Zero"...
...you just can't beat that trip to Planet X, which was populated by subterranian aliens, decked out in snug-fitting black and grey Devo outfits, Cyclops-like visors and one single T.V. arial antenna jetting out of each of their heads...
...when the aliens came to earth, to capture the monsters, Godzilla and Rodan, to do battle with King Ghidorah (aka Monster X), didn't Godzilla look like he was sucking his (it's) thumb, when being transported, asleep in that giant transport bubble; while slumbering an another tranport bubble, didn't Rodan look like a gigantic Thanksgiving turkey???
...how about that jumpity-jump victory dance that Godzilla did, after he and Rodan initially defeated and drove off King Ghidorah, during that first battle on the barren surface of Planet X???
...like I said, a very campy classic, all the way around!!!

Although I've enjoyed Godzilla in his many incarnations, I've always had a soft spot for the original "Mothra". One of the first Japanese monster flicks to feature ecological concerns and the exploitation of the innocent, it's also fun, heartwarming in a cosmic kind of way, and features a heroic monster, plus singing fairies! How can you beat it?

The very first one that I saw when I was a kid.
"Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster".
It was so corney, even as a 10 year old, it was funny.
