when i try to change the background i go to the display settings and all it will let me change is the color. The other things are a blur and won't even let me click on... HELP? anyone know what to do.

right click on the desktop, select properties, and select the desktop tab, then browse for the image you want

On Display click "Desktop" then you have the opportunity to change the background. Don't mess with Settings->Color. In Desktop you have the Browse button to select a picture from your files to use as a desktop theme.

You may have malware, spyware or a virus. Download the latest free anti-virus and anti-spyware applications from AVG here:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/
Then install and update the virus definition files. Run the applications one at a time.
