it seems that working in the army has the highest pay of 350, the rest are paying 100-200+？ which job requies high skill level and how to apply for them?

The Athletic career has the highest pay at $3033 per day, but that is at the 10 level for the career. You have to start at the bottom with $154 per day.
You get all the jobs the same way, through either the computer or the newspaper, just click on job search. You'll only get a few options each day, and you don't have to pick any of them. The options will change every day. Just keep searching until you find the one you want. To advance each career, you have to meet the skill and friendship requirements for each level.
