When dressing for Halloween, how would you attach shoulder pads?

By shoulder pads I mean pauldrons, like armor, not that padding football players wear. I can make them from cardboard and paint them to be realistic but how do I get them to stay on my shoulders when I go out for Halloween?

Try some double sided tape, or you can also get velcro tape, or sew on velcro. All would work just depends what you are sticking them to.

you can use sticky velcro. it's a kind of velcro you don't have to sew on, you just stick it on like a sticker onto your cardboard pads and onto your shirt. you can buy it from any hardware store. if you weren't able to find that, use lots and lots of safety pins.
