I honestly think Yahoo! should have a special section for this question...and then everytime someone asks (in that section) "am I pregnant? I had sex" yahoo! can do an auto-response....."take a test"

Yes, sometimes. But I suppose Yahoo! Answers is designed so that people who are confused or need help can ask. Most of those questions probably come from people that haven't had time to get a test or are very hopeful or very worried they are pregnant and they want reassurance. That's why we are here.

What bothers me MORE is people telling young women to get on birth control or "protection" as they are fond of calling it.
Why am I against it?
Because it's not failproof yet well-meaning women give the impression that it will "protect" these young girls.
How many of these "Am I Pregnant?" askers have been on birth control and still get pregnant? I have lost count! Obviously, pushing birth control is not working. The problem is, if they are irresponsible to be engaging in illicit sex, then they are NOT going to use their birth control consistently.
Over the years, study after study has proven this sad fact to be true.
I always advise abstinence because it's 100% safe. Making the right choice is up to them.

Yes, with some of the questions. With others, the ones where the girls really want to be pregnant, I get excited. Some people want to be pregnant so badly, that they don't want to see another negative test result, they want to hear first hand experience.

I am SOOOOOOOOOO tired of this question, ones about abortion, when to start a baby on solids (Not everyone agrees and even gives me a thumbs down when it was my son's doctor's advice), circumcision, breast & Bottle feeding. These questions always bring out the claws in women.

i feel the same but think when you write a question it shows you all the linked words in your question to other ones that have already been asked! so when these million questions with there 2million answers come up, can they really not find the answer to their question or do they just like to bore us all. also they waste 5points!!!! (hehe points mean a lot to me i would not waste them :D)

I think Yahoo should make it so that if you submit that question, it re-directs you to a variety of sites:
1) purchase of a home pregnancy kit
2) directions to a local hospital
3) common-sense/iq test
4) if you're a minor, require your browser to open an email to your parents

no I don't. I think that people need advise is they need to talk about something. Sometimes I sigh.. but it does not upset me. I also have asked redunant questions on here because I need some feedback or just to talk about it.

Oh my goodness, yes! I think there should be a separate section for expecting mothers/mothers who are asking question about their pregnancy/birthing/infants.
