The California wild fires started on October 20th. Federal aid was not deployed to help until Oct. 22nd. and the President isn't even scheduled to arrive in the area until Oct. 25th.

San Diego being one of the hardest hit areas and being predominately white... does GW hate white people too?

Or is it that he allowed the state to handle state issues UNTIL Governor Schwarzenegger requested the help from the federal Government following proper proceedures. Just look at how it is handled..

UH PEOPLE.... If you actually read the question... you will see that I am a CONSERVATIVE and I support our President.

I am showing that when handled correctly... LIKE the Governor is and like Bush is... these disasters are handled much better.

As all intelligent people know, the feds cannot interfere UNTIL asked by the governor of the state. Blanco didnt run for re election in LA and a republican won in a landslide because in LA they know the truth about what happened there and it isnt what the MSM and dems are screaming nationally.
I heard interviews with a lot of aid workers in CA and most said they had all the people they needed and that the Guard wasnt really needed,
Also of note is that once again, fire officials have come out and stated that misguided environmentalist and the rules they fought to enact are responsible for the size of these fires just as they have said for the past decade including back in the Yellow Stone fires a decade ago.

I am amazed at how many posters couldnt tell you were being sarcastic.

I'm not sure why you are directing your hatred toward President Bush. I am sure that he did not start the fires. It does not matter when he shows up on the scene. His presence has no bearing on the effectiveness of the firefight, nor does it have any effect of federal funding for disaster relief. He will be there on the 25th. All he can do there is be a talking head. Are you upset because he hasn't arrived on Air Force One and waved his magic wand to make it all go away? What is it that you want the president to do?

The good people of Louisiana have spoken and determined that their governor was largely responsible for the disaster that followed Katrina.

Another attempt at politicising a NATURAL disaster by an uninformed lib.
Go watch the news and find out how well things are going between the government entities if they're run by a Republica n Guvornator instead of inept, bumblling, and corrupt Dumocrats.

No. (These two points are the easiest I've gotten all week)
The governor of any state in a crisis, is the first and foremost elected official intended to take charge. Gov. Arnie did that. It is HIS responsibility. I am proud he is my governor!

Mr. Bush responded to our crisis in a proper, and timely manner. No one in San Diego I know refutes that. The only ones are those who don't know what is really going on. Unfortunately for CA, Barbara Boxer, a senator of CA, is one of them!

LMAO.... I noticed how libs didn't answer the question and how some Conservatives totally missed the boat!

Where is the outrage from the media? Did bush move his hurricane wind making machine to Cali to burn it all down?

Great question!

I love the irony and great correlation between Cali and Katrina.
If only all people could reason as clearly and as accurately as you. There would be much less liberals.

bush has done everything he can to help the people in Cali...what i can't stand is the Dem's and media trying to state that "it's global warming" and trying to focus on all the negatives and ingoring the positives

Knock it off...I don't believe our President is a hateful man! Those are pretty harsh words with no real back-up.

I absolutely hate when people dig for something to hate the president for. Your not in his shoes you don't know what it takes to deploy federal aid so until you walk a day in his shoes you really just need to stay quiet because you clearly do not know what your are talking about.
And for that matter i don't understand the comment "Does president Bush hate white people too?" What are you implying? That he hates blacks, Hispanics? And if so you are clearly un-informed.
