The games usually take place in October but this year if the Red Sox and Rockies go to game 7, it will be on November 1st. Has this happened before ?

In 2001, because of the September 11th Attacks, the MLB suspended all baseball games for about a week. Because of the suspended games, the postseason was also pushed back. As such, Games 5, 6 and 7 of that year's World Series were played in November (also Game 4 ended past 12:00 and Derek Jeter hit a Home Run in extra innings to win the game for the title of Mr. November).

Yes, 2004 world series went all the way to November 2nd.
Also this year, If the red sox and rockies go to game 6, then it will be November 1st.

no this havsnt happen yet. they Sox is hosting the Rockies in Fenway park.
they are only in the top of the 3rd inn. .Beside i wish the series would never go to game 7

when the yankees were in it,i remember derek jeter had a homerun at 12:00 and it was officaly nov 1.thats why his called mr.november.
