It's usually the light behind it that determines me to open it. sometimes, even if I know that I could reach a destructive outcome, the light pouring from within is tantalizing so I just find myself in a trance. I walk towards it unwittingly and before I know it, my hand reaches for the knob. The only question that needs to be asked in that moment is whether I want to know the inside or not.
