A snowmobile is a TOY. Borrowing money for a TOY is ALWAYS stupid. Your age and your income are both irrelevant.

It's up to you. $1,800 isn't a huge amount of money and if you get a bang of winter sports, go for it.

The problem is you're below the age of majority so, will have a tough time getting a loan. It is *not* illegal for you to get a loan. However, the lender cannot legally hold you to the terms of the loan making you extremely risky to give money to. Virtually no one will accept that risk.

Instead of wasting your money on something "stupid" that you will look back on one day, and ask yourself what were you thinking when you bought a sled, instead, save for a car, a home, your retirement. You are never too young to save for important things.
