Amoral. It's just an effective system of commerce, and can be used for both moral and immoral purposes.

Depends on what you mean by capitalism. People constantly say that money is the root of all evil, but do not see it for what it really is - a method of calculating reward for effort.
If by capitalism you mean that money should be the end all and be all for business, then that is bad because the only way to stay in business is to re-invest part of the return to replace resources and maintain the business. If you take all the return it leaves nothing for further business and no one can make a living with just a single transaction for the rest of their lives unless very few people reap the rewards.
If on the other hand you are referring to the concept of Private Property, then it is very good because owning property and earning reward for effort is the engine that built not just America but the entire free world! The receipt of return on the investment of time and effort is always a source of pride and self-respect for human beings. Remember the saying that someone has nothing to show for his life as all the proof one needs to realize that without tangible rewards for hard work there is no incentive for people to do anything.
Unreasonable rewards for little effort or little reward for tremendous effort - both are unworkable. Also, have you noticed that no one seems to care about public property? Without ownership there is no responsibility and without responsibility there is no society. People make up a nation, but nations do not make people!
If sometimes the world seems random and no one can explain the accidents and disasters - then that's life! However, if you believe that life is meaningless and everything happens by chance - then you will have no reason to do anything and probably won't!
Money puts value and reward into hard work and effort! Ask anyone you admire if they had to work hard and spend years to get where they are today. If they say no, they probably shouldn't be admired at all...

not sure how its a weak position to say we evolved the ability to have morals, anymore than it is we evolved the ability to breathe they are facts, so i dont think its a weak position how we are able to use , and come up with specific morals, is mostly about the different societys at the time but the ablity to have morals , is like everything else, something we evolved the ability to do i dont really go in for all the different lables or details, to be honest, im not that smart, i only learned most of those coming here, what i do know is if you hurt people, it hurts them, and they feel bad, so if you are a 'nice' person, try not to do it thats the simple basis of my simple mind ;-D

Capitalism, that is pure true capitalism where government does not interfere in consensual transactions is moral. It is only immoral to the degree that government gets involved and favors one company over another or imposes tariffs or embargoes. To the degree the government is involved it is not capitalism.

Capitalism is a freedom, as such it becomes destructive if not combined with morality. Any time human beings are free from Government we must self police our selves through faith and morality. In our country Capitalism is practiced in a Moral manor, and ultimately freedom, including capitalism, inspires the human spirit to do great things and is therefore moral.

None. Its a system that provides opportunity to all citizens. People who practice capitalism are mostly moral. People that are anti capitalist are all immoral. They want to confiscate earned assets.

Ditto to the great answer by Trevor S. He has shown exactly why capitalism is highly immoral.
Socialism is the system with a conscience that liberates the oppressed.
