Do you think Ether made Nas' career??
if Jay-Z neva came out wit takeova do you think Nas would still be rappin now??
I asked da 1st question because Ether put Nas back on top and ppl prolly thought since Nastradamus was dissapointin his career was closin and Takeover wouldve just ended his career if he didnt come out wit Ether
i ask da 2nd question because, if Jay-Z neva came out wit Takeover in my opinion i dont think Nas wouldve come out wit Ether, therefore he wouldnt been considered best all-time, because in my opinion Ether put Nas' career back in place

LMAO WTF Ether did not make Nas career it helped Nas get a bigger audience Nastrudamus wasn't a disappointment yea beat and production wise yea the album was poor put the lyrics was still hot. you people need to listen to more then just what is out on the CD I have song by Nas ya'll never heard of espically in between Nastrudamus and Stillmatic Jay was just getting mad at Nas for makin indirect blows to him actually Nas made two diss to Jay one was Stillmatic a freestyle and then he made Ether for his record and lets not forget Nas was not making an albums cause of his mom illness his focus was on her not music
If you listen to the tracks that was unreleashed by Columbia (for what reason i dont know ) it would murder any thing any rapper has out now Just my opionion homie
EDIT: and just for the record regaurdless of what Nas said if pac would have stayed alive long enough Nas would have ETHER him first when Nas made "when thugs die" that was a warning shot at pac Nas also made a couple indirect comments toward Pac even through Pac was straight up dissin him and callin out his name

1.) no......Illmatic made Nas' career
2.) yes, Nas was already makin Stillmatic during the beef wit Jay. even without Ether, Stillmatic is a great album, that album is what helped put his career "back in place"
