"Cyber" is an abbreviated form of cybernetic, which in specific terms is a study of automatic control systems, their communication properties and unity between mechanical/electronic systems. In common usage it has been used to refer to a whole host of internet-related activities: there is cyber-space (which is basically the internet, period), cyber-dating, cyber-sex, etc. (The list goes on and on). What was he talking about?
