The exact circumference of the circle is
=22/7 *2*7
=44 m
The exact value of pi has not yet been found because it is non-terminating decimal fraction and is equal to 22/7.However,for all practical purpose,we accept it as 3.14 for our day to day scientific calculations

The answer is A circumference=2*r*pi (r=6) circumference=12pi

the exact circumference (2*pi*r) would be 14 pi. Pi is about 3.1415926535898 (the decimal does not terminate)

pi is irrational so there is no way to express it... it goes without repeating a pattern.

I think they just mean to leave it in terms of pi.

C = pi * d
C = 2 pi r

So if your radius is 7, the circumference is:
2 pi (7) = 14 pi

That's the exact value rather than an approximation.

C = 2 π r
C = 2 x (22 / 7) x 7 m
C = 44 m

π = 22/7 is usually taken as 3.14

There is no exact number for pi, so I would just leave pi as a part of the answer.
C = 2pi*r
So, C = 2 * pi*7.
C = 14pi
