This happens to me a lot, though I've never shop-lifted in my life. Maybe I just look dodgy??? I'd be interested to know if there are many people for whom it has never happened.
Incidentally it's pretty funny when it happens, it's like a game of peek-a-boo as they appear from round the aisle.

Not to my knowledge.
It seems to me that if you can detect that security guards are following you, they aren't very good at their job.
Perhaps you should shop at a better class of supermarket, where the security staff watch you without you knowing.
It is also fun to pick your nose in front of the CCTV cameras.

Yes, quite a bit. I treat it as a joke, pick up things, put them down in the wrong place. I smile sweetly at them and make them feel like prats. I treat it as a joke.
It happens a lot in Tesco, cos a relative of my husband got barred, and coincedently my husband looks a lot like him, so they follow us on mass. We don't care, we think its a really funny game cos we're not shoplifters, and therefore there is no reason to suspect us.

Yes, it has happen to many times. I don't know if is because I'm 6ft or is it that I were hoodies. Why do they play Pika a boo with you, how could you miss him, he/she is the only one with a walkie talkies and the odd uniform. I had one almost folly me home. I know is they job to watch you but common give us a brake.

Very similar experiences.Same as when I got to a nightclub I am always the one picked out of the group to be searched.Always.i don't think I've ever been to a nightclub without getting searched now that I think about it.When ever I go to Woolworths I get followed,but only there!?!!Maybe I look like I am a Pick'N'Mix-aholic that is about to get his fix?!!

No, but I've had cops follow me across town for no apparent reason. I wasn't doing anything wrong. They were driving down the alleys parallel to the road I was on, as if I couldn't see the BIG WHITE CAR.

Yeah, that's happened to me before. i led him on a wild goose chase around the shop! I just walked around aimlessly for ages, he got p**sed off in the end and gave up!
