Not unless they are convicted of a crime and are ordered to take medication by the court of prison system. That's also the reason we have so many homeless people in the US. Prior to the ACLU's involvement, mentally ill people who refused to take appropriate medication were considered incompetent and put in mental hospitals. Thanks to the ACLU, that was ruled unconstitutional. So, now we have millions of mentally ill people living on the streets.

depends- we should give them medicine to make them healthy enough to make their own choices. after that they can choose to stop taking it if they please
