I am doing a research project on the UK during world war II and I am having trouble finding info. Here are some of my questions I can't find answers to:

1. Who was the leader at the time?
2. What was the main reason for participating?
3. Key dates they entered and withdrew from it.
4. Where was the main area(s) troops were stationed?
5. and How many troops they sent??

THANK YOU!

Try 'Wartime Britain 1939-1945' by Juliet Gardiner (Headline Books 2004) available in most good book stores.
