forget basketball for a second, lets say you are a great scientist. Lets say that you were the greatest scientist in the world, would you let others do calculations that you think are important or would you do them yourself to be sure? What about having a young scientist who has the IQ to be a great scientist in a specific field, would you rather have the potential or a proven scientist in a different field thats more important. Kobe is not a ball hog he is simply the best player on the planet. In terms of being a screwed up person he is not, I have met him and live near him and see him at pavillons and at golden spoon when his wife was pregnant and have had conversations with him. He is a great sincere nice genuine person. But when it comes to basketball it is his business and he has to be more nose to the grindstone. Its just unfortuante that he does not know how to get others respect his opinon in a modest manner rather then being immarture at times to get what he wants...

I don't think he's that much of a ball hog as he used to be. Even though he still takes a ridiculous amount of shots and scores a lot of points, it really isn't all that bad as it used to be. Now, if Kobe were taking all of these shots and missing every time, it would be safe to say that his ball hogging ways haven't changed.
Do I think he's screwed up? Yes, absolutely!
A person who's that screwed up has got to have the balls to run Shaq and Phil Jackson (they were lucky to get him back because they knew they weren't gonna win with nobody else!) out of town! A person who's that screwed up has got to have the balls to ridicule his teammates and throw them under the bus, especially after most of them stood by his side during one of the darkest days of his life! A person who's that screwed up has got to have the balls to talk about the person who sided with him during all of this Shaq/Phil Jackson vs. Kobe/Mitch Kupchak mess that got the Lakers dismantled and put into rebuilding mode! That person would have to be Jerry Buss. He is as much of a bigger fool than Kobe for entertaining the thought of trading Kobe away from the Lakers! Get the hell out of here!
No. 1, if you give up Kobe, who the hell else do you have in Los Angeles that is going to be a winning ticket for the drawing public? Anyone who says the Los Angeles Clippers needs to be shot in the head at least ten times! If that happens, Buss will forever be known as the GM who had the guts to trade Shaq and Kobe and get nothing in return! Once he traded Shaq, it was a matter of time before things would crumble. You can't win a title without a big man on your team who's going to dominate at will and everybody knows that! Kobe got management to get rid of whoever HE wanted to get rid of, then he got his demands and he still wasn't happy! He's like a petulant little kid who cries when someone takes his favorite toy away from him!
And No. 2, there is no other team that will want Kobe because of all the baggage that he brings to teams. OK, he's one of the ultimate scoring weapons in the NBA today, but you don't win games by scoring alone. If you don't have great team chemistry, you're not going anywhere but to the NBA Draft Lottery and the bottom of the NBA Trash Bin!
Kobe is a snitch! He didn't get what he wanted and he had the balls to throw his teammates under the bus with him! He will never win another NBA championshp as long as he lives! He should just retire after his contract expires!

all he has on that team is lamar odom. the management and coaches treat him like trash. hes not a bad guy. hes just mad cause his talent is being wasted on that team. and ud be a boll-hog too if you had the talent and the teammates that kobe has.

excellent question worthy of all the greatest sport schwabs who actually watch NBA in case you have not already noticed NBA is a screwed up sport it is just one man running down a court and throwing layups no passing no teamwork no defense that actually tries it is just ten men out to get a paycheck and will do anything to get that raised salary cap.
