You're joking, right? The Habs are stuck treading water. It's not like Roy is going to come back and lead another mediocre '86 or '93 squad to the Cup. Huet is great but when Gainey keeps signing smurfs like Samsonov instead of a hulking goon to protect Koivu, sorry, unless they unearth the next Robinson-Savard-Lapointe troika, the Habs are going to challenge the Laffs for Cup droughts.

It's still anybody's to win but there are a couple teams who are looking real sharp early. Habs could do it. They have that mystique about them and they need to win soon to keep their string of a least one cup in every decade alive.
Yeddie. Minny needs two scoring lines to pull it off and their number one line is filled with guys who have spent half their careers on the IR. Besides once there's enough video on this season, clubs will figure which defenseman is most likely to cough up the puck on Minny and watch all the shootins go to their side of the rink from then on and the red light will shine behind Backstrom.

Hmm i wish the leafs would actually win for once!
Honestly, I think it will be the Phillys this year as well or san jose but i would say phillys since they look like a top team and biron is playing good too.
For the wilds, i totally agree with puckdat, it will be time when they begin to fall and I have a hunch that ottawa after the strong start will go pretty slow soon.....
