Tom Brady is having the best season for a quarterback ever. How could he not get the MVP? He only needs 1 more TD to tie his career high for a season. He's sitting on a 137.9 passer rating which is a) the best ever in NFL history through any 7 game stretch and b) if the season ended today, would be the highest single season passer rating ever. His 73.8 completion percentage is mind boggling through this stage in the season. There are 9 games left for the Pats. That means, Brady doesn't even have to average 2 TD's a game for the rest of the year to break Manning's single season TD record. That automatically qualifies him to win MVP! The guy threw 3 TD's in his WORST statistical game of the season.

Manning's stats are impressive, no doubt, and the Colts offense hasn't had much trouble putting points up on the board. But Tom Brady has 27 TD's and 2 INTs in 7 games... Manning has 11 TD's and 3 INTs in 6. Manning is a great QB and very well might go down as the best of all time. But this is Tom Brady's season.

This choice is more than easy.

(Also, to those that are saying Brady will go down, the guy has the third longest active starting streak for QB's in the NFL, at 101, behind Manning's 150 and Favre's 6547733983.)

Considering that Peyton Manning has won the MVP award twice, I believe that unless something changes dramatically this will be the year for Tom Brady to win his first MVP award.
Peyton will still have a great year but the fact that he has won the award twice will definitely hurt the chances of winning the award a third time.

Tom Brady probably has a better chance that Peyton Manning. They are both good, its just that Tom Brady is just having a better season. He also has better receivers (Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Donte Stallworth). Peyton's receivers are pretty good. They are Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison, but Marvin Harrison is injured! Tom Brady has a good chance.

well this might be too early to decide since theres important game between colts and pats on november 4. also for people that say brady's gonna have 70 touchdowns, well thats stupid, hes on track but he is going to slow down. if i had to my answer is peyton since im a colts fan so naturally peyton but i still think brady is pretty good.

Brady's on pace to throw 4,825 yards and 61 TD passes. Come on, not even Joe Montana in his heyday was that good (a tremendous season for him would be 4,500 yards and 37/38 TD passes). Brady easily.

Manning by far, manning is working with reggie wayne and the old marvin harrison

Brady is working for in my opinion, one of the leagues best wr's in moss, also stallworth would be a number 1 reciever on most other teams, and wes welker could possibly be the best 3rd wideout in the league.
