I had a problem with this too. At first I just talked to her and said, "Dude, why do you keep backstabbing all of us all the time" and of course she claimed she didn't so that didn't really solve anything. So if you know she has a piece of valuable information about you, I would treat it very carefully and just kind of phase her out. A "no hard feelings" kind of thing where she won't hate you and divulge that sensitive info but she won't really be hanging out with you and your friends anymore so she can't really get any more material and wont care to talk bad about you. Worked for me..I never hear from her. Good luck :)

It sounds like you just need to stay away from her! You cant go back and erase what you told her. Sometimes we do things that sound like the right thing at the time. The more you hang around this girl, the more she will lie, backstab and be a mean person around you. If she tells everybody, it will just be gossip for a couple days, and then it will fade away. My advice is, she doesnt sound like a good friend!

honey if you know she's a liar so does everyone else. Sometimes you haft to rid yourself of those kind of people you know, what if she lies on you in a very bad way now you have bigger problems trying to prove your innocence. You can stop talking to her but before you do let her know your position. Tell her you don't like the way she's carrying herself always telling things that are untrue and making up stories. Tell her that can really get someone in trouble one day and your just concern for her own good and yours and if she gets mad she was never your friend to start with.

I don't know. What can you do?? Obviously shes not a friend. You need to be around people that make you feel good so lose the friendship unless you guys have been friends for a long time, then you should talk about it and find out why she is like this. Is she like this with everyone or just you?

Dont bring yourself down to her level and do the same back. Ignore her remarks behind your back and dont be afraid she will blabber your confidential conversations. Choose other friends and hope she will see the error of her ways. perhaps she has some deep down psychological problem that is showing itself in this way, and maybe she needs help from a specialist--and I certainly am not that.
I know its hurtful--it happens to men too, and my so called best friend was much the same. He always said bad things behind the backs of those who did him favours, so I asked him what he said behind my back--he was slightly disabled, but that didnt give him the right to use that to get what he could and then slag everyone off.
Keep your chin up, rise above it all and remember that these soert of things always work out in the wash somehow. Take care okay!

I only got one thing to say. That so called "friend" of yours is not what you call a real friend. Is what you told her THAT important that you would pretend to be someone's friend for? You don't deserve somebody like that. Matter of fact, you don't need a person like that in your life. Either you tell her straight up that you don't like the way she's acting & try to help her change, OR if she continues to act that way, end the friendship. IF she really cares about you & thinks of you as a friend, she'll stop treating you like crap.

WOW , i had a "friend" like that
in the end I ditched her & stopped talking to her after 1 year of friendship, which I thought would last
I mean, c'mon, friends dont to bad things to each other. Well, atleast..not all of those you listed. . ..
Ohh..you told her a "big" secret, right . .. ? Well.. . . =\ theres no easy way outta that one..just deal with it...its either hanging tight on the secret and be her fake friend or let it go..move on...it will eventually fade.

well first know the reason why she does that. there's always some reasons. then in return, on top of what horrible things she might do to you, just be kind to her and show her you don't deserve to be betrayed as she does. in that way, you're killing her "nasty" side. she'll feel guilty as well. and also, next time choose people to whom you'll share things about you. nowadays, it is really hard to find, but I hope there is really someone out there. a friendly tip, to know a person as a friend, he/she will still respect you on top of things that he/she knew about you (could be, from how rotten our attitudes are, to things that we prefer...)
Chill and Calm down. ^_^

This is a lesson in life and it's a hard one.....remember, if you decide to tell anyone a secret ever again...you MUST know you can trust them first. She couldn't have just "changed" right? I'd definitely back away from this person.

She probably already told people the thing you're scared she will tell someone, so maybe you should just stop talking to her.
