You read all the submitted answers and figure out which one comes closest to the most useful answer for you (you usually get to write a brief comment if you want too). If none of them do, don't choose and let the reading public choose by voting.

2. review answers
3. ponder answers
4. light a candle
5. make sure it's scented
6. meditate on answer while doing yoga
7. catch a bird and attach correct answer to leg
8. if it returns you made a correct answer
9. if it doesn't you must email 10 people the selected answer or you will have 10 years bad luck
10. Finally, return to the question by selecting it from your profile and click the little blue "best answer" button at the bottom of the answer you selected

click the question, read through the answers, than click the blue oblong box below the answer you think is the best one.

Go to your profile and click on your questions. There is a place there to choose. If not, go to your email (when answers come in you can choose the best one there - but by then they come one at a time)

Usually...I read them all, and then choose the one that got the strongest laugh out of me...
Or the most thought-provoking relevant to the question one...
After reading them all...just go for the one that gave you the strongest mental reaction...
