There is absolutely no way that team is going to win the title.
Having Fisher back will help stabilize the PG position and lend some much needed defense. But for the most part, their starters are marginal bench players on most teams.
Lamar Odom will not be ready for the start of the season.
They needed to get Kobe a wingman, and they didn't. For all the money Dr. Buss makes, he couldn't see his way clear to exceed the salary cap.
So, unless Bynum turns into pre-fat Shaq, the Lakers will be a first round exit once again.

No Way In Hell!
The top six teams in the West are set with
1. San Antonio
2. Phoenix
3. Dallas
4. Houston
5. Denver
6. Utah
That leaves two spot for the playoffs. While the Lakers may be in contention, Golden State, New Orleans and even Memphis look better than the Lakers right now. Of course Odom's injury and trade rumors for Kobe won't help either.
I doubt they will even make the playoffs this year.

Absolutely not. The Suns, Spurs, Mavericks are all better then them. Kobe might even be traded anyways.
