Enter a Vet's Day parade.
Go to the cemetary and place flags on all vet's graves.
Clean around the head stones.
Participate in a pageant in your town.
Visit a Vet's hospital to cheer up the patients.
Listen to all the war stores with rapt attention.

Next month (Nov 11 traditional) is Veterans' Day. What do you plan on doing for them on that day? Will you go to a parade? Visit a soldier in the hospital? You could write a letter to the editor (dressed up as essay) and submit to newspaper AND teacher. If your letter/essay is published, your grade should be assuredly better. Write about how proud you are of the men and women who fought for Freedom in the wars present and past.

pray for them, thank them, do something special for them on veterans day, things like that
