I have been in Europe for a year. Please tell me what you know about the following developments during my absence.

1) Natalie Holloway: did they ever find out what happened to this girl who disappeared a few years ago in Aruba?

2) Why isn't Newt Gingrich running for President? Have people ever mentioned the possibility of a Newt Gingrich - Condaleezza Rice ticket? If the Republican front-runners have lackluster support, do you think it could happen last minute?

3) Do many people seriously believe we will have to attack Iran to stop their nuclear program?

4) What's the most interesting or oddest story Bill O'Reilly has had on his show this past year?

5) Hillary seems like she has too much baggage to win; Obama seems like too much of a flash in the pan. Do either have a chance of winning?

Sharia_Vigilant: I love your total candor about O'Reilly not being a priority for you. I like this kind of honesty.

Esprese: It's so funny (but probably true) that Newt is "too smart" to be President. It's almost like people are afraid of intelligence. From listening to him on The O'Reilly Factor, I am amazed at his stellar intelligence. He's the smartest man in politics.

1) conventional wisdom has her dieing of a drug overdose while partying with the suspects. The boys paniced through her into the ocean where the strong current sent to to sea to become shark food.
2) Newt is too polarizing, too smart and doesn't have the ability to raise enough money
3)Yes. The Iranians must be taken at their word. Remember the 1930's, Chamberlain, peace in our time. This would be a disaster, lets hope it can be avoided.
4) The fact that child molesters in Vermont get very little or no jail time, and that the cultural establishment in that state seem OK with that.
5) No and No. The more people get to know Hillary the less they like her. Zogby, the pollster come up with numbers that suggest 50% of voters will not vote for her no matter what. Obama is being exposed as the light weight fool he is, and only the fact that some liberals do not want to be called racist for pointing that out keeps him in the race.

1) Natalie Holloway: did they ever find out what happened to this girl who disappeared a few years ago in Aruba?

No.

2) Why isn't Newt Gingrich running for President? Have people ever mentioned the possibility of a Newt Gingrich - Condaleezza Rice ticket? If the Republican front-runners have lackluster support, do you think it could happen last minute?

He was told he couldn't be involved in his organization involving citizens in finding new answers for our problems if he ran. Apparently his involvement would violate McCain-Feingold, another example of how that legislation violates our free speech.

3) Do many people seriously believe we will have to attack Iran to stop their nuclear program?

Some do, including me.

4) What's the most interesting or oddest story Bill O'Reilly has had on his show this past year?

There were a number of odd ones. Can't single any out.

5) Hillary seems like she has too much baggage to win; Obama seems like too much of a flash in the pan. Do either have a chance of winning?

No. A Republican will win the Presidency in 2008. That's my person prediction.

1) They never found Natalie Holloway, and to my knowledge, no one has been convicted, either.

2) Newt Gingrich thought about running for President, but decided against it. Why? You'll have to ask him. Condi isn't interested in running for President, either. And, no, I doubt any major changes will take place in the last minute in regard to who the candidates are.

3) A lot of people think attacking Iran is the only option. Of course, that would include the usual suspects like Dick Cheney. Condi Rice and Karen Hughes are against it. France (believe it or not) has threatened Iran with war, as well. So, yeah....a lot of people think this is a very serious situation.

4) Any story that O'Reilly does about how dangerous the ACLU is is a good story. People don't realize that this organization has supported the "right" of pedophiles to disseminate information about children on the Internet, has sued the Boy Scouts in order to get them off of a city park, and tries to shut down our right to freedom of religion and speech. If you're a Christian or a conservative, the ACLU will try to shut you up.

5) Obama doesn't have a chance because Hillary will get the Democratic nod. I give Hillary better than a 50:50 chance of winning the Presidency. She's beating all of the GOP candidates in head-to-head matchups in key states. But, a lot will change by Nov 2008.

1) No.

2) It is said he doesn't want to.

3) I don't know anyone who thinks that, but there are many who think we should attack just to overthrow the Iranian government.

4) In my opinion -

5) Hillary collects new baggage like a poor spades player. We don't have to rely upon the old stuff. Obama may be fit for the job in 20 years.

Few people think either of them have a chance of winning anything other than the nomination - despite what the polls say.

1) Don't know, not one of my priorities.

2) While I am participating in Newts group American Solutions I don't quite know why he is not running.

3) I think we should attack Iran only as a LAST resort. Covert ops (overthrow, sabotage etc.) should hopefully get the job done.

4) Sorry, I don't watch Bill at all. (and I am a well informed conservative... huh, go figure!)

5) Nope, not a chance either of them will win. Too far on the Left & Americans are starting to realize that McCarthy was correct (albeit a bit fanatic).

1 - no but they did find out that the suspects that they were harassing for 2 years were most likely innocent

2 - he has the personality of a block of wood and his first name is Newt. Nothing is impossible, but look for Giuliani to get the republican nomination

3 - yes, people who listen to Rush Limbaugh and live in a perpetual state of fear.

4 - don't know, I don't watch his show

5 - Hillary will probably win. Hillary has baggage, but a lot of other things on her side. She will get the dem nomination, and probably be the next pres.
