Or do you know other people who are nicer.
In defining nice for this survey use your willingness to forgive and forget (yes, I mean be used as a doormat) as your guide.

Also, on a scale of 1-10, how nice are you?

Mr. John Paul Jones- An appalling answer sir, but well within character. And what would you do if you had a wife and someone tried to compromise her dignity?

I am the nicest person I know. Everyone else is an ******. On the scale Im about a 5 which makes everyone else a 1 or under.
I do forgive but I dont forget. Thats how you learn. I also dont hold grudges. However how I am has nothing to do with other people being A -holes.

I (may) forgive, but probably not forget. Although compared to almost all the people I know, I'm probably the nicest.

However, since you added that forgive and forget thing, I would say that I'm rated a 3-5, or more specifically 4.

I'm like a 7 or 8 because I do have my limits.
I'm nice but, not the nicest person I know.

It takes a lot to make me mad.....yet,I'm not a "doormat".

I'll forgive you once and after a while, I'll forgive you twice. But if you pull the same stunt a third time buddy!!......Boy, I know you're not planning on changing. I will not trust you. I no longer KNOW you.

I'd say Im about a 71/2. I am a really nice person but there are somethings or people who can rub me the wrong way and all I can think about is what I can say too really hurt the others feelings. I'd never go and seek to hurt someone just for the hell of it but i guess I'm kind of spiteful. Other than that Im one of the nicest and humble person you can meet.

I consider myself nice, but I definately know people who are more easygoing and kind. Oh I have the ability to forgive and forget.. the reason is do I want to? Some situations, you have to put your foot down. I've been told that I'm a really accepting person, which I think in ways I am too. But I'm not one to let people walk over me.

So.. 6ish maybe?

I know others that are more thoughtful. On the nice scale I'm a 10 to people I like. I'm a 1 to people I don't like

I'm not the nicest person I know so I would say I'm about a 7 and can be an 8 to some people. My kids think I'm the nicest person they know when it comes to money!! I don't know what they do with all the money I give them...they are in college!

Oh heck no! My husband is far nicer than me! :) I think it's more than being able to forgive and forget! It's more about having compassion for people and rising above temporary frustration to recognize someone in pain who may need kindness at that moment. I guess on your scale, I'm an 8.

I'm an 8... I do everything for everyone...I can't get out of the habit and until recently, I wouldn't even accept help...I HAD TO DO IT... Now, I accept help and am grateful, though it might not have been the way I would have done it.
I stop what I'm doing to meet other's needs and grant requests. I'm probably crazy too, but that's besides the point.
