Beano
Written by Semper Fi Reborn
It was just around the bend of the road,
That I came upon this pleasant scene.
Freshly fallen snow,
Lay light and fluffy upon the ground.
Flakes still fell gracefully from above,
As I opened my mouth to taste their tasteless coolness.
Others carressed my cheek on the way down.
I saw what appeared to be little houses,
Placed around as if painted,
Against the bright bluish gray winter sky.
A sigh of astonishing surprise became,
A trail of steam which became the words,
I love this place!
I brushed some frost away from a sign.
It read:
Welcome To Beano!
Population, You and all Your Beloved!
I thanked God I was home!
