All of the phones in my house are wireless, except one in the kitchen which still has an old fashioned cord to it. How about you?

My friend does not even have a house phone. He uses his cell phone as his only phone.

Like others here, we've kept a corded phone upstairs and downstairs in case of power outages or fire. One of the phones is bright red and dates back to about 1970. And it still works.

Most of the time, though, we use the portables.

Good question, by the way.

We downgraded to a corded (from a cordless) phone since the kids cannot easily misplace it and we must remain in one room with the phone. I also have a cell phone.
