she is in collage,very adventourous,artsy,she travels alot and loves it.I cant think of anything,she does not want jewelry,thats what i get her mostly.Help

I also love to travel and do it quite frequently. Here are some gifts I've gotten and have loved:
-Many beautiful travel journals
-Guide books to locations I have upcoming trips to (Eyewitness guides and Fodor's are my favorite!)
-Inflatable travel neck pillow, small portable reading light
-A moneybelt to be worn under your clothes (a must have item!)
-Travel fiction, makes for great reading on planes, trains, and bus rides (some of my favorites: Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert, Under the Tuscan Sun, Paris in New York)
-Travel non-fiction: The Fearless Traveler by Charlotte Beech, it is a must have in the collection of every traveler

If she travels a lot, I would believe that you should get her an ipod, or any kind of mp3 player. If she is very artsy, she should enjoy music and since she travels, she can listento music on the go.
Another suggestion is getting her a portable video player (if she's interested in movies) or a handheld game such as the DS or PSP (if she is interested in video games).
One more suggestion. If she LOVES to be with her friends and is with them the majority of the time, I woudl suggest a Wii. It's fun for all ages and she and her friends can hang out all the time.
I'm assuming she already has a laptop, but if not that should be your #1 priorty on the Birthday list. If her laptop is about 6+ year old, I would suggest buying a new one so she can complete her studies easier.

Don't get her a gift card. That is the most thoughtless thing you can do. It only shows people you have no idea what they want, like or are interested in and that you are too lazy to find out. Oh so let's get a gift card the gift of lazy thoughtful-less people.

Does she have a laptop? I am an artsy (theatre) college student, and I cannot tell you how valuable my laptop has been. It helps me with my projects, allows me to converse with my teachers, can be brought on trips and to art events... They're really great for art students.

Give her money and tell her to spend on something that she wants the most. You can buy her a trip, if she likes to travel so much.
