I just purchased a dell ispiron 1521, and am still in the process of getting everything set the way I like, I have a few questions and would appreciate some legitimate help. My laptop has vista on it, which is fun to figure out, i remember hearing that you can get any open windows to do a sort of rotation thing. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but if anyone knows what i mean that would be great. I have dsl at home and my dad has it set up through a router or modem or something i'm not sure, but i'm going to take it to cafes and places or work to get homework done. At work we don't have wifi and there aren't any local unsecure networks i could tap into, would i be able to bring a router with me? and set it up through that, i heard something about being able to use ethernet places. Again, i'm kind of a computer idiot, any ideas let me know. thanks

The stuff you talked about Vista is not there yet, I think you meant 3D rotational desktops, Windows don't have it yet, you confuse that with Linux desktops which has it now.

Unrelated, Vista has no impact on the network connection; you could try I suppose, although it best you just get yourself Ethernet PC card they are dimes a dozen anyway if you look around (exaggeration; they are not THAT cheap).

I won't stake my existence on it, yet im ninety 8% valuable that is appropriate. you are able to continuously verify Linksys website manuals. in case you elect to flow with modern connection, then i could recommend dealing with community Setup or on the spot Setup Wizard on top of issues Panel, then use a USB flashdrive to reconnect the pc.

you would not be able to bring the router with you to work. if you did bring it you would have to have your company set it up for you. just ask them if they can install a wireless access point somewhere so everyone can be on wifi at your work.
