okay so i have tried to restore to all dates and it doesnt do it.The reason is that i think i have a virus and i want to restore to like a week ago when i didnt have it.There are some sytem restore points that say SOFTWARE DISTRIBUTION SERVICE 3.0,SYSTEM CHECKPOINT,and like SPYWARE REMOVAL!NONE OF THEM WORK FOR SOME ODD REASON.

hi,when you have a virus or malware,system restore will not work because the baddies will normaly attack and disable system restore,your only option is to try and get rid of the baddies using the appropriate software and if this fails you must consider a major NUKE ( reformat drive reinstall windows )hope this helps. cheers.
