I heard it suggested from a male friend that often times he is treated differently because her is a short man. I am a tall woman and so I found this to be interesting. He said in the wokplace, going out and even with dating, he feels as though he is treated unequally.

You think he is paranoid?

I'm sure he is both justified and also overly paranoid. Maybe sometimes the discrimination he feels is real and sometimes he is making it up in his mind.

Short men have a tougher time in the dating scene. Most women like a tall guy.

I am a 5'9" women who once had a boyfriend who was 5'5"tall. He was nice and looked like Paul McCartney but I felt weird out in public with him.I had to drop him.
My husband is only 11/2in. taller than me but I like that he is taller then me.
It must be hard to be a short guy.

He has “Little Man Syndrome”

He feels insufficient because of his height, so therefore is paranoid that everybody will treat him that way, causing a self fulfilling prophecy.

there are people who won't date short people and stuff like that, preferences and all
but I don't think his friends and co-workers would hassle him that much, unless he is less than 5'3

Short men have issues, so he's probably just paranoid, or reading too much into innocent situations.
