Coach is much cheaper, so in reality, I would probably buy a Coach bag, but I love Chanel's bags so much more because they match more things because of their simplicity. Coach usually has patterns and colors, so they're cute, but hard to wear and trendy, so they'll probably go out of style in a couple of years. Chanel's bags are timeless- if you look at Chanel bags from 80 years ago, they would still be considered beautiful and elegant. However, in five years or so, the style of Coach bags will change to a less vibrant look, and you'll be stuck with a $500 purse that is out of style. Chanel bags are made to last a lifetime, both in quality and style.

I would say I go for coach!It's the hottest brand in town now...tho,they don't really have that much fancy colors,but it look's simple ang goes well with any occassions.I'm not really into Chanel bag.But I go for Chanel cosmetics.Such as,face powder and Lipstick.They are great to wear...I would rather have Dior bag than Chanel bag.I like the cuttings...

No contest, Chanel. Chanel is more classy and chic, and has been around for some time. Coach is a little too much for me, unless it's like a wallet.

i think both are really cute i have a coach but i never carry it because its like medium sized and i like to keep everything in my bag so i need a tote and i LOVE the chanel tote the one with the quilt patern and the two C's at the bottom but chanel is a litte bit more expensive so that somthing i want to save up for

I like Coach, I wouldn't own a Chanel bag unless I could afford it.

Chanel's are so cute but more expensive. i can afford a coach but saving for a chanel would take a while unless it was a gift.
I think chanel is so classic, chic, and cute..but coach is so fun

Chanel, because they are absolutely amazing and the best quality around. so there is really no comparison between coach and chanel. however chanel is around $1,000 to $2,000 so i have coach and really like it but if i could i would get chanel hands down.

Personally, I would not want either, because the purpose of a bag is to hold your stuff (and maybe look nice too)...and there are plenty of bags that hold your stuff and look nice that cost a lot less than Coach or Chanel.
