Don't be overly concerned. Not all young men are jiggy with the joys of menstruation until later in life. Only then do they realise it is a time of great freedom. A four day texas holdem poker meeting once a month with his mates. Ahhh the great pleasures of the mens trual cycle!

That is so mean what you guys said your not god so dont judge. She ask for your help not critism. You r not her so dont judge its her life not yours. And your not stupid everybody makes mistakes, sometimes twice we r all different so dont b so close minded u guys. But if you had an abortion it takes eights weeks for you period to regulate meaning you might miss a month or two.The fact is once u get an abortion u body has an hormonal inbalance meaning its goin to take time to regulate. That means u will miss a period or two, but this is common in patient who get abortions. Now if your period dosent come back before then u will have to get a blood test done to see if your pregnant again.Regular test want work bcus of the hormonal inbalance.Good luck girl with whatever decision u decide to make, bcus n the end its your choice not theres.

When you say why has`nt my 16 year old son got his period yet, do you has he started his puberty or does he have wet dreams. It might ban an idea if you rephrased the question because it certainly does not make any sense at the moment.
I am being polite because I don`t want to call you a ding bat

first he is male and men don't have the same types of periods women do.
second male periods are allot different as any dead sperm are removed through urination, and happens more frequently i have heard many timelines for this from 30 min's to 2-4 days.
puberty hits at different ages i knew someone in school who didn't go through puberty untill 14/15 and another who went through puberty at 9, it is not exact age for adolesence. but i have heard in a medical journal younger and older ages.
you make me laugh LOL

Wow, and how are you a parent? Boys don't get there period unless you mean the period of time in which they go through puberty.

I think there probably is something wrong with him. I know mine started when I was 13. I have heard that using steroids can cause a delay in the start of a boys period. Is he a body builder or an athelete? I think I would sue his coach and the school. You should be able to collect several million on this one.

It may be an anemia sort of thing. Just feed him lots of greens and make sure he gets plenty of rest at night. My father was 17 when he started his menses. Before that, the doctor had told him he didn't have a uterus. I mean really, the nerve!
