I have always been closer to my mom, but as I get older I am sort of drifting more toward my dad. I think my mom and I are just too much alike. We don't get along as good as we did when I was younger.

Definitely my dad. He's like a big kid which can get on my nerves at times but mostly it's quite entertaining. He loves the Sci-Fi and Animal Planet channels just like me and he's hilarious when he's telling stories. I love my mom just as much but she gets on my last nerves because she can't keep a secret to save her life and she doesn't get my jokes the way my pops does.

I deeply enjoyed my mothers and fathers, yet while my father offered me my first shaving kit for my thirteenth birthday i began out to gravitate in the direction of him further and extra and persisted doing this till he died. My love and admiration for him grew as I matured. He grew to become greater approachable and not in any respect pooh-poohed my questions and struggles. At nineteen i grow to be nonetheless hugging and kissing him goodnight. returned then i presumed he "hung the moon" because of the fact he grow to be so clever, jocular, and humble. mom grow to be nonetheless comfortable, affectionate and encouraging, yet Dad had an amiable way of explaining issues to me. I favored that.

my mom and dad are both closed minded so im closest with my aunt, moms sister... shes so down to earth and understanding, its almost ridiculous! and she was there when i gave birth to my son just like a mom would be there for her daughter and she now is attached to my son more than her own kids

I think I have always been closer to my father....I sometimes wonder if my mother and I share too many of the same personality traits to be really close....mind you, I think I inherited quite a lot from my father, too.

I don't know what I would do without either of them, Daddy knows all about gardening and cars,and gravy and families and prayers and Mom knows everything about stains, cooking, kids, faith and men. I need them both. I thank God I have had them for almost 54 years they are both 77. I hope I die before they do it would kill me to lose them.
